Solar Eclipse in Aries: Powerful Endings & Beginnings
It’s Officially Level Up Season!
A solar eclipse can bring powerful new beginnings, particularly a solar eclipse in Aries, the sign of beginnings! However, there is a catch with today’s eclipse, which went exact today, April 20, 2023, at 12:13 a.m. EST - it falls at 29 degrees of Aries, considered the anaretic or critical degree as the last degree of the sign. This means major endings must occur to make space for what is coming in. And so, this is a time of endings and new beginnings all in one.
At the same time, a square between Mars and Chiron can bring some painful old wounds to the surface, inflaming them and ripping them open to be felt all over again. With the Sun and Moon moving into Taurus a few hours later, and Mercury, Uranus, and the North Node already in Taurus, we must take a good look at what we value - starting with ourselves.
